To confirm the recent screening process, which was conducted by the Screening Department of Statoil Nigeria Limited, we are pleased to offer you an initial position as the:
 

POSITION: CRANE OPERATOR.
JOB LOCATION: LAGOS, NIGERIA

 

STARTING DATE: 28TH MAY 2013. On this date, you are to report at 8:00 a.m. to the Human Resources Department, where you will be provided with packet containing information on Statoil Nigeria Limited. Benefits, facilities, and services as well to attend an orientation program before job commencement.
Should you accept this job offer, per company policy you'll be eligible to receive the following beginning on your hire date.
 

SALARY:
Statutory Laws. Monthly starting net salary of 5,000 (USD) exclusive of any taxation. You will be paid both during your time on-site and your time off-site. All payment of Salary after assumption of duty in Nigeria shall be 90% paid into an offshore account to be provided by employee with the remaining 10% paid locally in Nigeria. This is in line with the Nigeria Expatriate Financial
 

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervise 3 or more workers during the performance of their duties.
Supervise the upkeep and maintenance of the paint locker.
Supervise housekeeping operations when cranes are not in use.
Direct Roustabouts as necessary to support on-going rig operations.
Complete orientation and be familiar with all safety policies and procedures.
Safely and efficiently perform all duties during drilling, work-over and completion operations.
Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe manner, and correct or notify responsible person of any unsafe actions and/or conditions.
Attend pre-tour, post tour, special operations and safety meetings.
Inform the Rig Manager or Barge Engineer prior to any equipment/weight move.
Assist in handling freight to or from helicopters and boats.

Ensure that all bulk material hoses are extended and purged with boat's air system prior to use.
Knowledgeable in all crane and rigging safety instructions and regulations.
Knowledgeable on operational limits of cranes and associated lifting equipment.
Maintain adequate fuel supply at all times.
Ensure correct hand signals used for crane operations.
Record all heavy lifts and lifts contrary to manifest in the crane report.
Maintain daily time sheets for Roustabout personnel.
Responsible for rigging and moving of equipment and materials.
Treat crew members with respect, fairness and professionalism.
Encourage appropriate professional development and training opportunities.
Maintenance and Repair
Ensure all deck / equipment maintenance areas are kept clean and all tools are properly stored or racked in designated areas at all times.
Maintain the exterior of the hull, main deck, substructure and heliport.
Keep the areas clean and in good repair and free of safety hazards.
Inspect the cranes daily and lubricate as required by the maintenance manual.
Ensure cranes are kept clean.
Inspect all of the crane's systems, equipment, and associated rigging equipment.
Knowledgeable of the company paint specifications and procedures.
Complete daily and weekly crane reports and notify supervisor of any defects.
Inspect, maintain and keep a complete inventory of all slings, chains, ropes, shackles, and other hoisting equipment.
Maintain records on all maintenance and work done on the cranes.
 

1. VISA: All International Applicant should note that Statoil Nigeria Limited shall duly secure their Visa from the Home office of the Nigeria Immigration Services here in Nigeria for every applicant coming from outside the Nigeria.
 

2. WORK PERMIT: Statoil Nigeria Limited shall secure your work permit papers from the Nigeria Immigration Service here in Nigeria which will enable you to live and work legally here in Nigeria.
 

3. FLIGHT TICKET: Your flight ticket shall also be sent to you, a week before your departure. You are to provide a working and valid postal address where your ticket shall be delivered through a courier service agent, inclusive of the Hardcopy of your Offer Letter and Certificate of Employment.
 

4. ACCOMMODATION: Statoil Nigeria Limited Provides accommodation to all foreign nationals at the Company’s staff estate in Lagos. Employees are entitled to take meals free of charge at the General Staff canteens. Dietary options, Customized cooks and Dieticians are available options.
 

5. ORIENTATION PROGRAM: Candidates are advice to arrive a week before job commencement date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note there will not be further interview as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the Human Resource Department to confirm validity.

6. REIMBURSEMENT: All expenses you incurred during the period of processing your STR visa application with Immigration Consultant Mandated by Statoil Nigeria Limited will be reimbursed before you embark on your journey. The First month upfront salaries shall be paid only if you provide immigration lawyer with the entire documents during the period of processing your STR visa application. 


7. SAFETY AND SECURITY: Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Job Locations and communities are no small issues, and have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company Sector. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. 

8. MEDICAL AND HEALTH CARE: Employer will provide the employee with comprehensive Health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time of contract for employee and family. 

9. COMMUNICATION AND INTERNET FACILITIES: Laptop Computer, Intel Pentium M Processor, 1 GB RAM, 48XCD-RW, 20GB Hard Drive, Floppy Drive, Integrated Network Adapter, Internal 86K Modem, Spare Battery and Necessary Software’s. 24 hours Internet access is also available. The company will also provide the employee with one land line phone at home and one mobile phone both will have a reasonable credit amount each month. 

10. PERFORMANCE BONUSES:

There are three stages involved in the employment of expatriates in NIGERIA
1. Request for cable visa
2. Application for subject to regulation visa (STR VISA)
3. Regularizations of stay.

Once the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has approved the request for cable visa, it will be forwarded to the NIGERIAN EMBASSY in your location who will issue you a S.T.R VISA. The regularization of stay is done here in NIGERIA on your arrival.

Firstly before I proceed with the application to the Nigeria Embassy in your location to give you a STR VISA, I have to first of all get you your ExpatriateQuota Approval Letter and Cable Visa from the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) in Nigeria.

You are to send me the following required documents so that I can make an application for you with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) for the approval of your Resident/worker's Permit, Cable Visa (which is a per-requisite for STR Visa) and Expatriate Quota.

1. Proof of vaccination against yellow fever.
2. Travelers Expatriate insurance policy certificate (TEIP)
3. A scanned copy of your international passport.
4. Letter of Acceptance of Job Offer

TRAVELERS EXPATRIATE INSURANCE POLICY (TEIP) COVER is a mandatory requirement by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) this is because the policy is to prove that you are medically fit; to work in Nigeria and also it is a per-requisite to renew your resident/worker's permit every year.

The TEIP should have benefits to the tune of $9, 000, 000.00(NINE MILLION US DOLLARS) and the duration is one year, it should include benefits for loss of luggage, repatriations, medical, permanent disability and death etc

The preferred insurance company by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) is NIGER INSURANCE COMPANY.NIGER INSURANCE COMPANY is a Nigerian government owned insurance company located in Nigeria, so you are to look for their agent in your location.

After you have applied for the TEIP policy, you will be issued a certificate. You are to send me a copy of the certificate Issued via electronically as attachment.

Attached is the Nigerian Immigration Services form, you are to go through it carefully before filling it properly.
On confirmation from the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) for of the approval of your cable visa, expatriate quota resident/worker's permit, it will be forwarded to the Nigerian Embassy in your location you will be invited from the Nigerian Embassy in your location for a brief interview for your S.T.R visa.

Ternyata banyak juga di blog milik orang2 asing yang mendapatkan email yang sama persis dengan apa yang saya trima dan saya juga ber inisiatip untuk mengikuti permainan mereka dulu sampai bener2 tau sebenarnya apa maksud mereka
